Usal Beach marks the southern terminus of the Lost Coast Trail. You'll find a mix of hikers and bikers looking for adventure, and local partiers looking to blow off steam (and maybe fireworks), though the latter are less common midweek. It is a nice place, however, the closer you are to the beach the more you'll need to pay attention to the tides and worry about the wind.
