Vandring
The island is known for its Buddhist history and great views of the bay. Similar to the caves in front of the Zuigan-ji Temple of Matsushima, handmade corners adorn the cliffs and rocks here. In these caves Buddhist priests meditated and performed various religious practices. You will also see Buddhist artifacts and statues, shrines with scattered religious decorations and a unique view of the bay.
