Built in the early 1990s, this carousel was created in the style of late 19th-century French carousels, evoking the Belle Époque (Beautiful Era) period.
It is located at Place Sainte-Catherine, right by the Old Harbor (Vieux Bassin), one of the most iconic spots in Honfleur.
Though it is not antique, it is a faithful reproduction using traditional craftsmanship, hand-painted panels, and vintage-style figures such as galloping horses, gondolas, and even small cars or motorcycles.
