Have solid tires to avoid punctures!
Grass is dry and stiff in the summer - forms nail-like forms, other plants tend to have thorns. Ride the stony part of the path rather than plants.
You will likely ride through a few spider webs that will stick to the bike and you. Just take them off every few minutes, let spiders on the ground and you are good to go.
