The section behind Inversnaid towards Inverarnen along the shores of Loch Lomond is awesome. Partially with all fours over stick and stone.
The way behind Invernaid direction to Inverarnen along the shore of Loch Lomond is a real challenge. Most times you need all your legs and arms to manage the path with all the stones and roots. Fantastic.

This is miles from the Rob Roy cave. See the viewpoint to the south for the actual location of it and be prepared to scramble if you want into it. Can’t miss it as it has “cave” written in big white letters

The special highlight of this section is Rob Roy's Cave. Difficult to access, the cave is best seen from Loch Lomond, where white paint indicates the location of the hiding place. Rob Roy is an 18th-century outlaw and something of a Scottish Robin Hood. He is said to have made himself at home here and successfully hidden for several years.
