The Roman Catholic Church of St. Andrew most likely dates back to the year 950, as both the construction of the church and its consecration in 990 are documented from this period. Over time, the church underwent repeated structural changes, primarily affecting its furnishings. The last restoration took place in 1998, when the church roof was re-roofed. A notable feature of this ensemble is the 12th-century charnel house (=ossuary), which is located in the southern part of the church property.
