In the forest there is a grave of those who died in the battles of July 1914, when the Germans and Austrians tried to impede the advance of Russian troops. The largest battle took place on the fields of the Boruń farm. The battles lasted two weeks and led to the destruction of the town. The next war also brought many victims, some of whom are also buried in the grave in Boruń.
