These perhaps inconspicuous ruins of the castle in Kłaczyn are easy to miss, as they stand among the village buildings, but there is a real story here.
The beginnings of this castle may even date back to the 14th century. The castle had a turbulent history: for example, in the 16th century the stronghold was expanded in the Renaissance style, but it was destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. In the 19th century there was still a romantic ruin with a tower and a portal.
