The lake is surrounded by dense pine and beech forests, and its shores are lined with walking and cycling trails. The area is ideal for bird watching, walking, yoga in the bosom of nature and relaxing without the crowds.

Kayaks and SUP – you can rent equipment in Lorica or other places on the lake.

Fishing – Lago Arvo is popular with anglers, especially those looking for trout and perch.

Lago Arvo is one of the most beautiful lakes in Calabria and a true pearl of the Sila National Park. Although it is an artificial reservoir, it fits harmoniously into the mountain landscape. It is fed by the Arvo River and smaller mountain streams.
