Markezina Greda is a prominent hill located near the village of Klis, just northeast of Split, Croatia. It overlooks the historic Klis Fortress and provides far-reaching views to all directions.
The site can be reached via trails from various directions. A marked hiking trail leads from Klis village to the peak of Markezina Greda. This is a short but steep and challenging hike. Do not attempt it in the same outfit you’d wear when visiting Klis Fortress. Instead, wear proper hiking shoes, and I highly recommend bringing hiking poles too.
Markezina Greda is also a popular climbing spot.
