Vandring
The Osoppo Fortress is an important landmark for the entire region of the hills and pre-Alps of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Declared a national monument in 1923 and demilitarized in 1951, it now hosts various cultural events, enhanced by the stunning panorama of the Tagliamento River and the surrounding area. Its historical and touristic significance is undeniable: the fortifications contain ruins dating back to the Great War as well as those from earlier periods. A truly fascinating historical site.
