It became necessary to have a church of its own in the village and finally the building that still exists today was built in 1890 and 1891. The master builder is Theodor Quentin (1851-1905). [The architect is stylistically a representative of neo-Gothic. During his lifetime, he had made a name for himself in the field of sacred architecture, especially in Saxony and Thuringia
