The cross-media offer of the "William Turner Route" brings his works and the theme of the Rhine Romanticism from the international museum landscape back into the real landscape. Selected locations between Koblenz and Bingen mark important stations on Turner's journey through the valley. On site, accessible information boards provide clues to the origin of the masterpiece created there. They encourage you to immerse yourself in the artist's world for a moment.

A total of 26 locations between Koblenz and Bingen mark important stops on Turner's journey through the Upper Middle Rhine Valley. He transformed the snapshots he captured here into masterful watercolors that capture his passion for the unique atmosphere and pristine nature of the landscape surrounding the poetically transfigured river. Walk-through information panels and interactive storytelling immerse the viewer in the painter's world.
