The village of Kostelní Vydří is located 3 km north of the town of Dačice.
In the village there is a pilgrimage church (cultural monument of the Czech Republic) and a Carmelite monastery.
The church is a late baroque building from 1787 to 1789 on a hill above the village. The Carmelite monastery was built in the middle of the 18th century (with an extension in 1992-1993). The Carmelite publishing house Kostelní Vydří is housed in the monastery.
An interesting tour with contemplative sayings and good views in all directions.
