Cykling

The Chair Gallery has existed since 2015, commemorating the three chair factories that were located in Oeventrop between 1913 and 1960: the "Sauerland Chair Factory," the "Oeventrop Chair Factory," and the "Germania." Due to emerging cheap competition from Eastern Europe around 1960, all three chair factories went bankrupt.
Unfortunately, in September 2024, two 14-year-olds deliberately destroyed almost the entire Chair Gallery, thus undoing the volunteer work of the initiators.
