A fantastic distant view of the Rhine valley and over Heidelberg to the Palatinate Forest and Speyer - of course only when it is not too hazy. It is definitely recommended to take the mountain railway up - of course also recommended for cyclists and mountain bikers. In the warm months it is unfortunately quite overcrowded by a lot of tourists and local walkers. This can be a bit stressful for cyclists of all kinds. It is best to take a short descent near the mountain railway station - this can avoid trouble or even accidents.

Great view of the plane. A nice place to stay, but a lot of business on the weekend.
Everything is important here: bikers, hikers and joggers (the Himmelsleiter ends here), tourists (mountain railway station), etc.
