The originally Romanesque Church of St. Jilji was rebuilt at the end of the 17th century. Its current appearance is the result of a pseudo-Romanesque reconstruction in 1870–1872. The church's Baroque bell tower was built between 1753 and 1756 on the site of an old wooden building.
