The Alentejo is rich in historical and scenic heritage, part of which - fortunately little - is still little known, namely the "Aldeia dos Pequeninos" in São Bartolomeu do Outeiro (Portel), an authentic relic created by the late Abílio Veiga "O Sassá", in 1980.
