The Parish Church of San Bartolomé dates, according to the Relations of Felipe II, from 1560, when the first inhabitants of the town built it on the site of the old Arab castle, and using reused materials, many of the stones of its walls can be seen Visigoth and medieval crosses and motifs. It is a church with a basilica plan, with an extension towards the apse, a gabled roof, and without a tower, topped by a belfry with a bell tower.
