The church in the village of Novofetinino was built with funds from N.A. Zubova (Suvorova) in memory of the victory of Russian soldiers over Napoleon in the Patriotic War of 1812. There is no information about when this village was formed and the church was built. It is only known that at the end of the 18th century there was already a wooden church here, in 1822 this wooden church burned down.
