Handy and lovely cycle path along an old railway line and in the shadow of Arthur’s Seat. So called because the operators of the railway used horse drawn wagons well after all the other railways started using steam engines.

Worth putting on your lights going through the tunnel. Last time I cycled through, there was a toddler wandering over the path, not easy to see at a dark spot between the roof lights. Watch your speed going downhill, lots of pedestrians around.

reddit users have reported them as very active in the niddry area as well as the assault on a cyclist in the Seafield Leith cycle path .
