Villar San Costanzo is a charming village located at the foot of Mount San Bernardo, at the beginning of the Maira Valley. This town is known for the "Ciciu del Villar" Nature Reserve, where you can admire particular mushroom-shaped geological formations, called "ciciu", created by erosion over the centuries.
The village also boasts a rich historical and cultural heritage. Do not miss the Church of San Costanzo al Monte, a rare example of a religious building with two overlapping floors in Romanesque-Gothic style, which preserves an evocative crypt.
