Vandring
The Aqueduct of Água de Prata, also known as the Aqueduct of Água da Prata or Aqueduto da Prata, is a complex work of Renaissance hydraulic engineering with the aim of supplying the city of Évora with water. At this point, the aqueduct rises to cross the Ribeira valley, hence the name of the place: Cano Alto.

The tall pipe covered in vines is green with life, but it does not allow us to see the work of art, which is the structure of the arches, which support the pipe through which the water flows.
The stream that runs beneath the pipe is also spectacular. You can see it by going down to the stream, on one side of the aqueduct. 👍
