Monastery Big Remeta. 16th century church with refreshed frescos and monks residence all around, completely enclosing the church. Very different style then monasteries in Valjevo area that are from 13th century. These are built during the Ottoman Empire occupation and look like fortified fortress with the church in the middle. There are many of them in this area. Surrounding gardens are beautifully maintained and free to explore. Enjoy and respect.
