The heating station was officially opened on October 10, 2025. 1,285 homes are now connected to the heating network. This is the first heating station in the Netherlands with large windows at street level, allowing passersby to peek inside at any time. Because this beautiful building is located near the Poldervaart canal and Beatrixpark, the architect opted for a green design. The facade consists of green metallic panels with varying angles, allowing the heating station to blend in with its surroundings.
