Görlitzer Park is one of the largest parks and recreational areas in Berlin's Kreuzberg district. It was created in the late 1980s and early 1990s after the demolition of the railway facilities of the old Görlitzer station. The name Görlitzer Bahnhof carries since then only the nearby underground station Görlitzer station. In the 14-hectare Görlitzer Park there are, among other things, a children's farm, several sports, games and football fields, two lookout mountains and a small lake.
