Very narrow, relatively busy road. Then there are the Tunisian drivers who don't know the word distance. The newer and bigger the cars, the worse the drivers (especially when they pass quickly and closely, even pushing and shoving into oncoming traffic > and that on a Sunday!).
If you're scared, it's better not to drive here.
If you don't want a car to blast past you at 120km/h with a gap of 5cm, you should have strong nerves and just drive in the middle of the lane and make way when the traffic from behind has slowed down.

The Roman Dam, also called “Al Kantara”, is a road about 7 km long that connects Djerba to the mainland in the south-east. This connection brings water through a pipeline and electricity through a high-voltage line from the mainland to Djerba and the most important goods, such as food, building materials and textiles, also reach the island in this way.
