The construction of a memorial room, reading room and motel, within this complex, which covers 10 hectares of land, was financed in 1985 by 19 municipalities of northeastern Bosnia. Today, this memorial, in whose common grave 768 fighters are buried, including 17 national heroes, is in ruins, and the once popular picnic area with sports fields has been covered with weeds. Several years ago, the Lopar SUBNOR launched an initiative to declare this important anti-fascist cultural and historical heritage a national monument of republican importance.
