Thosrten's tip is wrong, it must be a copy and paste description of another lake, the lake is relatively small and is used to generate electricity for the Tannheimertal - there is no campsite here, and you can't sail or surf on the small lake either

Popular destination with a great bike path. The reservoir invites to a variety of recreational activities such as boating, sailing, surfing, swimming and camping. On the western part of the lake and the shore there is a nature reserve of almost 175 ha with a great fauna and flora.
