20 kilometers from Vladimir, in the bend of the Klyazma River, there is the ancient village of Davydovo, mentioned since the 16th century. In the center of the village stands the Transfiguration Church built between 1837 and 1841, with a high four-tiered bell tower built in 1911-1912. The total height of the bell tower is 77.7 meters, which is 5 meters higher than the bell tower of the Assumption Cathedral in Vladimir. There were 7 bells in the belfry, the largest weighed 508 poods (83.23 kg). Its ringing reached even Bogolyubovo (12 km)
