Cross-country skiing is healthy - and this trail in the Upper Engadine is especially so. The Herzloipe trail in the middle of the sun-drenched valley of Celerina leads past the church of San Gian with its striking two towers and in a wide arc over the Samedan golf course back to the starting point. This short circular route is prepared for both classic cross-country skiing and skating and has no gradient, making it ideal for heart patients and an ideal entry-level trail.
