Cykling

"After the end of the plague, which took 488 victims, including 2 vicars, from the then small parish, in thanksgiving to God, Fr. Rogowski built the chapel of the Holy Cross on the road to Jordanowice from Puthi to the present day in 1713. It cost 600 zlotys. Restored by the last of the Mokronowski family, today it serves as a funeral chapel - 150 fathoms away from the church." - Fr. Cykling

The chapel was built in 1713. The chapel was erected as a votive offering for the end of the cholera epidemic. Initially, the building was located at the intersection of Kościuszki and Sienkiewicza streets. In 1776, the chapel was rebuilt, and in 1839 it underwent renovation.

In 1962, the building was entered into the register of historical monuments. In November 1995, the chapel was moved to King Zygmunt Stary Square, where it is located to this day.
