Vandring

"Polana Mikołaj occupies a shallow pass under the peak of Plebańska Góra (495 m above sea level). There is a pillar chapel made of stone with a painting of St. Nicholas on it. Erected in 1782 by shepherds, it was rebuilt in 1945. During the occupation it was here a meeting place for Home Army soldiers - in the spring of 1944 a partisan unit called "Chase" was established on "Mikołaj". Today it is one of the favorite places for walks of the inhabitants of Myślenice. " malopolska.szlaki.pttk.pl/1513-pttk-malopolska-polana-mikolaj
