Some time ago they removed the beautiful pool from the Plaza de Armas, which had become the symbol of Camaná, and moved it to San Jacinto for many generations. Now it is in a young town in La Pampa. I saw it recently when I visited La Villa Hermosa. Many people in different places care about preserving the original beauty of their towns and consider them their historical monuments, part of their symbols. In Camaná this has not happened.
