Europapark is an open-air nature park and is home to numerous sculptures and art installations. The park was founded in 1991 by the then 19-year-old artist Gintaras Karosas. Since then, the number of sculptures on display has steadily increased, and now over 100 different works of art can be viewed in Europapark. The works come from artists from over 30 different nations, the most famous of which include installation artists such as Dennis Oppenheim, Sol LeWitt and Magdalena Abakanowitcz. The park also has a restaurant and offers its visitors guided tours in various languages.
