Cykling
The combination of 18th century Dutch solidity, French elegance and a touch of Rococo makes the Hofje van Mevrouw van Aerden unique. In addition to the beautiful indoor and outdoor garden, the Hofje has a very unique collection of paintings by 17th century Dutch masters in the Regentenkamer.
The regentenkamer of the Hofje is currently not open to visitors.

The artists who exhibit in the gardens of the Hofje van Aerden work in various materials and in different styles.
The theme Animalistic is interpreted broadly: sometimes the sculpture is the animal as it stands, sometimes the posture or context gives a symbolic meaning, sometimes the message is just as important as the animal itself. The meaning that an image gets is the charge that the artist puts into it.
The exhibition is still accessible until 15-9-2024
