The picturesque Valun fulfills all the clichés of a Croatian fishing village. Two quiet pebble beaches - which are ideal for swimming in the clear sea and sunbathing -, winding streets with quaint taverns and restaurants with sea views that serve freshly caught fish. It belongs to the municipality of the town of Cres and has around 60 inhabitants.
