The Stadtbibliothek Spandau is a public library system sponsored by the Spandau district of Berlin, department for youth, education, culture and sport. The library has a media inventory of around 300,000, which was borrowed by 675,126 visitors in 2018, about 1.3 million times. In addition, the library organized over 4,400 events, tours and exhibitions during the same period. The opening took place on October 25, 1920.
