Very nice round from the Schönberg car park via the Gleinshöfe to Waldrast and Ochsenalm - very good for eating, descent towards Matrei with a turnoff to Schönber with some tough climbs but all asphalt.

Cykling
The Schönberg Loop is a particularly scenic bike tour. The route runs through varied forests and meadows, offering magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, and combines leisurely sections with gentle climbs. Along the way, the Waldrast and Ochsenalm mountain huts invite you to take a break to enjoy the scenery and recharge your batteries. The loop is also suitable for sporty cyclists looking for a scenic route.
