There is still a lively debate in Estonia today about whether to preserve this gigantic architectural monument or convert it into a conference center.
The building is currently falling into increasing disrepair. Nevertheless, Linnahall is a popular meeting place for both locals and tourists, as its roof offers a view of the Baltic Sea and the city.
Furthermore, the Tallinn Stars ice hockey club played its home games there from its founding in 2002 until its dissolution in 2009.

The Tallinna Linnahall was Estonia’s largest multi-purpose hall.
It was completed for the 1980 Olympic Games.
Unfortunately it has been lying idle for years and is falling apart bit by bit
A popular meeting place in summer to watch the sunset. And great for incorporating a bit of stair training while jogging.
