The old town in Đurđevac is a beautiful medieval fortress. It used to be surrounded by a swamp that was its natural protection.
Known for the legend of the Picoks, according to which the residents of Đurđevac are also nicknamed.
Today, it houses the Museum of the City of Đurđevac, with a very attractive permanent exhibition of Croatian artists, and frequent attractive exhibition projects. There is also a restaurant in the Old Town.
