The palace was built in the 19th century. It originally belonged to the Borck family, and since 1928 to the Splittgerber family. The palace was recently renovated, at least that's the information you can find on the internet, and yet it looks as if it was only partially inhabited, and the rest is falling into ruin. The area around the palace is neglected and overgrown, and the entrance is only protected by a chain hanging over it.
