Remte Castle (German: Remten) is a manor house in Remte. The buildings and park of Remte Castle are national monuments. The manor house houses the Remte Primary School. Remte Castle was built in 1800 in the style of Berlin Classicism for the then landowner Count Karl Medem.
At the end of World War II, the 19th Division of the Latvian Legion of the German Army Group was stationed at Remte Manor and in its surroundings.
