Cykling
The brick chapel was and still is the center of the Groeninge community. The choir part of the chapel dates from the 15th century and the church part, the hall-shaped nave, was built against it later. Some further changes were made in the 18th century.
There are benches around the chapel so you have a good view of the chapel and can take a break if necessary

Vandring
In the 18th century the chapel was renovated and in 1822 the church building was restored.
On 7 May 1968 the chapel was included in the national monument register.
