We extended our tour, as already described. The plan was 14 km, but it turned out to be 34.9 km. Our water supplies were almost exhausted at 27 km. The search for natural springs was unsuccessful, everything was dried up and we were really thirsty, almost dehydrated. Then we saw a small forest chapel on a hill about 300 meters away. The first thought was to continue descending, but something about the small chapel attracted us.

When we opened the doors, we saw an altar with icons hanging above it. On the right side were two large, almost full plastic water containers, each with 11 liters. It was like a small miracle, we filled up our empty bottles and put some money in the donation basket.
Our research revealed that some monks walk between the chapels and pray. They bring
water supplies with them to help themselves and others in water distress.
