Vandring
Drangajökull is the only glacier in the Westfjords. It is the only glacier in Iceland that is entirely below 1,000 meters in height. It is also the only glacier in Iceland that is not receding (i.e. getting smaller). Drangajökull is located north of the Strandir region and south of the Hornstrandir nature reserve. There is a beautiful view of the glacier from Kaldalón Bay.
