"A place sanctified by the blood of the inhabitants of the village of Zygmuntów brutally murdered by the Nazi occupier in 1944." The monument was built in 1966. After the Germans burned down the entire village and murdered all the inhabitants there at that time, the place stood empty for several years. It was only in 1947 that Stanisław Rudecki built a cowshed and a barn there on his wife's sister's plot.
