The church was built in 1907-1909. in the neo-Romanesque style after the release in 1905 of the tsar’s manifesto “on strengthening the principles of religious tolerance.” The temple was built from stones that local residents collected from the area. During the Soviet era, the church was closed and converted into a dairy shop. In the 90s of the 20th century, it was returned to Catholics, restored and re-consecrated in 1993.
