The somewhat hidden chapel with late Baroque and Mannerist architecture is often overlooked. Founded in the 16th century and renovated at the end of the 19th century.
It follows the usual lines of the São Miguel Baroque, with the typical contrast between the white-painted facades and the structural and decorative elements made of basalt masonry. It has a rectangular floor plan consisting of a nave and a choir, with stucco cladding on the interior and windows on both sides.
