For many decades, this former castle manor housed the electoral and later royal Hanoverian post office with a post office and horse changing.

There is a carillon on the side. The melody of the song "I am the little Nienburg girl" can be heard three times a day. (Mon-Fri 9:05 a.m., 12:05 p.m. and 6:05 p.m., Sat-Sun 11:05 a.m., 12:05 p.m. and 6:05 p.m.).

A nice little hotel with a central location, with bicycle storage. From our room, we had a view of the "little Nienburg" (small town).

Beautiful, historic post office with carillon and sculptures in Nienburg's old town.
